Ha ha – this made my day Ruth. I had no idea they made a peanut butter beer! And the names of the various beers was quite unique as well. Thanks for sending this to me. Hope you had a Happy St. Patrick’s Day too!

I wasn’t sure but suspected they made peanut butter craft beer. had to goggle it. Glad you enjoyed it.

I did enjoy it. There is a reporter/anchor on WWJ who does a feature on local craft bears. I’ve never had any, but the peanut butter beer does intrigue me.

Aww, Linda, loving it! Keep being nutty 😉

Glad you got a kick out of it Jeanine. Staying nutty keeps me young! 🙂 A fellow blogger just suggested Parker was drinking peanut butter beer and I had no idea that existed. There were many types of peanut butter beer at that link – who knew?

Peanut what? I need to check that out! We had some pickle beer in Spreewald. Wasn’t that great …

I was going to send you the link Jeanine … I will send it to you now in a separate comment in case it goes to SPAM.

That’s really nice Linda. This whole spam at WP can get really annoying

Well, lately I’ve only had about 5-6 a day but a few months ago I was getting 50-60 and all the same message (in Spanish).

I used to get plenty and from one day to the next hardly any. I always worry that too many comments get filtered. We will never gnome

A fellow blogger was commenting on posts and they always ended up in SPAM. She wrote the Happiness Engineers and asked why most of her comments ended up in other’s SPAM filter when she did not send a link and they told her she commented too quickly when she commented on multiple posts in a row. She should slow down a little. Hmmmm.

Jup, commenting on too many, using links or negative language … There is lots of mistakes here on WP 🙂 The never ending fun!

At least my posts have stopped disappearing or not publishing on time. I intermittently will have a post in Reader in the morning, then later in the day it disappears and they (WP) cannot figure out why.

Thank you Linda! I already found it in your comments. I guess with a strong dark it might work but to me this sounds just wrong 🙂 hops, water and malt is the German Reinheitsgebot. But than we mix it with cola or grapefruit juice, so what do I know ,😅

I haven’t had beer in a while but have never had it mixed with cola or juice … we have a lot of craft brew places around Detroit. I thought you might have just looked in the comments to see that peanut butter beer. 🙂

Glad you enjoyed them Ally and thank you! A fellow blogger just said Parker was probably drinking peanut butter beer and I didn’t know there was peanut butter beer. She send a link – some funny names for the various beers. To use a cliché “you learn something new every day.”

I’m waiting till Parker falls asleep from the beer and stealing his pot of Gold! Maybe I’ll leave a bag of peanuts?

Do help contribute to Parker’s cause, especially since the geese have been swiping goodies lately. A fellow blogger commented that Parker might be drinking peanut butter beer – I didn’t know they made beer from peanut butter. She sent a link and there are several and fun names for them too.

Glad you like this post Sabine. I thought I would put a little of that “whimsy” from my blog name in my St. Patrick’s Day greeting. Yes, I never heard of peanut butter beer either. Something for everyone. 🙂

Whimsy it is for sure! We all need a reason to smile these days. I’m not sure about wanting to try a peanut butter ale, but I do like an occasional chocolate stout! 😉
LikeLiked by 1 person
I’ve never had a chocolate stout … hmm. So, go ahead and try the peanut butter … merging the best of both worlds: chocolate and peanut butter like a Reeses cup.

The squirrels in the yard are out and about more now. There is a pretty gray one that is really pert and lively! 🙂

We only started getting the gray and black squirrels a few years ago – before it was just the Fox squirrels. I think the gray ones are pretty with their coloring, but they are so shy … except Grady, the gray squirrel I wrote about in many posts. He was a character, along with his pals and I enjoyed feeding them every day … all six are gone now thanks to the local Cooper’s Hawk and I still feel sick about it. They all disappeared around Easter last year. The geese and ducks at the Park have taken to eating the sunflower seeds and peanuts I put out for the squirrels and birds. This is something that just started this week. I tried standing there until the squirrels and birds get their share, but they walk right up in front of me. Every critter for itself it seems!

Awww…Parker makes an adorable leprechaun. Just make sure he doesn’t drink too many St. Paddy’s Day beers!

Ha ha – Parker would be like that squirrel video that made the rounds a few years ago. The squirrel was eating fermented berries off a bush and kept falling out of the tree.
